Tutorials

Learn how to design, submit, and manage experiments on Litmus.

For Requesters

These tutorials walk you through the complete workflow from idea to results:

  1. Hypothesis Formulation — Turn vague questions into testable hypotheses
  2. Hypothesis Library — Save, organize, and reuse hypotheses
  3. Edison Integration — Generate hypotheses with AI
  4. Protocol Selection — Choose templates, custom protocols, or request design assistance
  5. Submission & Results — Define acceptance criteria, submit, and handle outcomes
  6. Cloud Labs — Submit experiments to automated cloud laboratories

Prerequisites

Before starting:

  • Create an account
  • Have a scientific question you want to answer
  • Understand that Litmus supports BSL-1 and BSL-2 work only (no human subjects)
